Data are stored in the first case only on the bank party, and the client has the electronic keys allowing it to get access to bank, for example, through the Internet. This kind of service is called the "thin" client or the Internet-banking , and its advantage that the client does not need to care of storage and protection of a considerable quantity of the information - to have the carrier (a diskette or a flash card) with keys enough. Such way approaches for physical persons and private businessmen with small volume of operations. In the second case which actually the bank-client also is called, or the "thick" client, all sent and received electronic documents remain in a database physically located on the computer of the client. This way approaches for the organisations more, wishing to have constant access to the payment documents, and not just during connection with bank.
